J. M. Flagg and Dee Flagg Western Art Gallery (Ongoing Post)

J. M. Flagg was a western artist who specialized in depicting portraits of prominent historical characters as well as the cowboy lifestyle with oils on canvas. The art was then combined with intricate wood frames carved by one of Scottsdale Arizona's most famous artists during the mid-20th century, Dee Flagg. Dee was very active with his sculpture work in the 1950's.

This is going to be updated periodically in hopes to create a more complete gallery of these works.

As a fan of these pieces, I was going through online to see if I could get more information on the artists. However, for J.M. Flagg, it became quite difficult because most searches came back with the artist of the famous "Uncle Sam" poster. From what I know, they are not the same. If you have any additional information about the artist, please let me know!
